City Hall

Artist Harper Goff designed Disneyland’s City Hall for Walt Disney. It was based on the courthouse in Goff’s hometown of Fort Collins, Colorado. The building stands on the west side of Town Square and serves as the information and processing center for Disneyland’s Guest Relations.

The Building has two adjacent wings to it. The north wing leads up to the fire station and includes bathroom facilities for both men and women. The south wing was used as Disneyland’s own police station for awhile. The police station was used as a center for finding lost children. But soon after it was installed,it was realized a police station wasn’t very hospitable on Main Street and it was removed. Today the south wing is used as expanded offices for City Hall. Directly south of the south wing are the Tour Guide Gardens where the guided tours gather.

One of the windows in City Hall is dedication to Jack Lindquist who was President of Disneyland until 1993. His inscription reads "Jack of all Trades".
