Coke Corner On the northwest corner of Main Street sits the little refreshment corner known to thousands of Disneyland patrons as simply Coke Corner.
The Refreshment Corner, sponsored by Coca-Cola serves a variety of snacks including cookies, pretzels, hot dogs, and of course Coca-Cola.
The most intriguing aspect of Coke Corner though, comes from the small patio area outside where, for the last 30 years, ragtime piano player Rod Miller has played to crowds from all over orange country.
Coke Corner also serves as the unofficial Disneyland weather station. On the wall at coke corner sits a thermometer and as Rod himself points out, when the flags at Town Square are blowing directly toward the castle (north) rain is in the forecast.
Behind Coke Corner, is an entrance to the Penny Arcade. Here, above this entrance is a window dedicated to the last person who worked in the park on opening day (July 17th, 1955). Bob Penfield worked for Disneyland from 1955 until 1997.
