I doubt you will find many towns with gas lamps and horse-drawn streetcars any longer, but somewhere in America, the idea of a perfect Main Street still exists. The idea of a tree lined street with brick paved sidewalks and intriguing little shops with friendly neighborhood shopkeepers.
Perhaps this isn’t as far from reality as we might think. Miles away from the suburban wasteland that became Anaheim, California, many towns and cities were immune to the urban expansion that came about in the last century.
