I did not work at Club 33, soI did not include a large section here on that location. Besides, it's not technically a member of the New Orleans Restaurants department; it has its own department. Naturally, I've been up there numerous times (mostly for business reasons, but sometimes just to look). It truly is a posh atmosphere. The upstairs area in New Orleans Square is largely consumed by Club 33 dining, storage, and office areas, so you get an idea of how big this one facility is. The Main dining room, however, is above the Cafe Orleans.
I do have one good story here. Club members and visitors often watch Fantasmic from their balcony overlooking the Cafe Orleans patio. There's a large tree in their way, so it's not the best view, but at least it's elevated. Once, a guest from the Cafe patio came up to me and showed me a gold watch and said it fell from the sky. I assumed, correctly, that it must be a Club Member who lost it, and went up there. The lady in question didn't even know she'd lost her expensive watch until I brought it upstairs. She wanted to give me $20 as a reward, which I refused. When she insisted, I gave it instead to the guest who had been honest enough to turn the watch in to me at the Cafe.
I don't have any pictures of the Club, but I have eaten there (an experience I'll never forget). Rather than try to give my own explanation of the place, which I could not do with anything approaching accuracy, I thought I'd point you in the direction of some worthwhile websites that are dedicated to the Club:
Long ago I learned that if you don't know the answer to something, ask Snopes. So here is Snopes' view of Club 33
