Complete menus and prices for all restaurants at the Disneyland Resort

Of all the wonderful things to see and do in the Disneyland Resort, one of the most under-appreciated and under-documented has to be eating - there is a wide variety of high quality restaurants in the Resort. Many people doubtless have wondered exactly what sort of food is available at Disneyland, Disney's hotels, and that new theme park called Disney's California Adventure.

Thus was born this website. The idea, basically, is to make every menu of every restaurant available to the public, so that people might be able to plan their upcoming trips easier. In part, this site was inspired by my original, sister webpage dedicated solely to New Orleans Restaurants, which is where I worked for nine years.

Ideally, I would like to have current menus with constantly updated prices. However, I do have other responsibilities beyond this webpage, so updates to the menu selections and prices may only occur on a yearly basis. One month after this page became active, in fact, prices inched upward across the park a few cents. Consequently, any price you see here may be as much as one year out of date, which is usually no cause for alarm but may in some cases be a significant difference.

The prices on this page were last updated: June 1998.

Some general notes about operating hours: those locations which have different lunch and dinner menus - typically, the buffeterias and full-service restaurants - generally change over to the dinner menu at 3:30 or 4:00 p.m. Hotel/Resort restaurants have erratic operating hours, and often close down between lunch and dinner. If you wish to avoid long lines, choose dining times that do not coincide with traditional "lunch" or "dinner." Between 2:30 and 5:30 the restaurants are usually particularly empty. On non-peak days, Disneyland tends to close its restaurants early - sometimes even before the dinner rush. The ones farthest from Main Street close first, and the closures work their way toward Main Street.

SMOKING IS PROHIBITED at all Disney restaurants, indoor seating areas, and even outdoor patios.

The navigation bar to the left will be on every page, hopefully making it easier for you to jump around the website. I have broken down the resort into the two theme parks and the hotels, each of which are further divided by "themed land."

I would like to call your attention to the "General" category at the bottom of the navigation bar, which contains much miscellaneous information. There is a helpful alphabetical list located there; if you are searching for a specific menu item (i.e., tiramisu or crepes), you need only click on that list to find out which locations throughout the Resort offer it. Elsewhere in the miscellaneous category you can find out about vegetarian choices, arranged alphabetically by menu item. There's also a section about kosher food for your convenience.

Information about restaurant entertainment and character breakfasts (which includes the Fantasmic Dessert Balcony) can also be found under the miscellaneous category, as can recipes, reservations, discounts, and even food reviews. If you're looking for the most recent information about restaurant changes, see the News and Rumors section. The section special situations is a kind of catch-all: it deals with birthdays, holiday meals, compliments/complaints, baby care, smoking policies, picnic areas, and questions about disabilities.

And now, click away!

Guest Count: visitors "served" since June 22, 1998.

In addition, Al's Disneyland Information Guide was a valuable resource that saved me much footwork, especially regarding character appearances and discount policies. The "Spoons98" image is a scan courtesy of K.E.R. Special thanks to Ken Martinez, Stewart Dimon, Bryan Walton, Rev and others for providing info on long-lost restaurants and facilities. Finally, I must admit to becoming inspired by the look and navigational ease of Kevin's and Adrienne's Disneyland Potties website, which also provides the kind of informative and comprehensive approach I hoped to mimic in this site.
