Disneyland Links

For information about your food options...

If you're looking for information on Anaheim area restaurants, Ed has a handy resource: an exhaustive list of Anaheim restaurants. Ed doesn't provide directions, but with a good map you can easily find many of these facilities.

Steve's Guide to Hotels and Restaurants within Walking Distance of Disneyland is a helpful resource in deciding where to sleep or - heaven forfend - actually eat outside of the Magic Kingdom. Good stuff.

Deb Wills has, with some help from volunteers, managed to do the seemingly impossible. She's put together a website that lists all the menus and prices at the entire Disney World complex. Whew! And I thought my job was tough. After you visit her menus page, be sure to see her comprehensive guide to Disneyworld in the process - it's the Florida equivalent to Al's D-I-G.

The most important link (wink, wink) is of course the one that leads to my sister website, dedicated only to New Orleans Restaurants. It's full enough of details to be considered fanatic, but I think it shows just what a great time I had working there.

For information about Disneyland...

If you're interested in planning a trip to Disneyland, there's really only one place to turn for up-to-the-minute information on operating hours, shows, prices, and so on. That place is Al Lutz' Disneyland Information Guide. Al knows everything about everything Disney - give his site a shot.

The following is not a complete list of great sites, but here are some websites I have visited and can recommend to you. Some are fan sites, some are informational, but they are all good. In case you wondered, they are listed roughly by relevance to the subject of Disneyland restaurants, but the order is by no means a measure of a site's relative value.

K.E.R.'s website on Outdoor Vending, which provides information about the food carts distributed throughout Disneyland and a great resource.

Adrienne's and Kevin's Disneyland Bathrooms - exactly the place you may need to find if you spend a lot of time eating and drinking in Disneyland's restaurants!!

Matt's Tomorrowland Toilet Music Website. Speaking of restrooms! This site lets you hear the music that plays in the background at the restrooms.

Scott Garner's Storybookland website, which also features the "Pressler Hall of Shame" - a Must See Website.

Nick and Amber's Disneyland Port - where you can get a cyber tour of the park, attraction reviews, and see dozens of great pictures.

Andrew Rich's Backstage at Disneyland. Journey backstage and see things no guest has ever seen!

Jason Schultz' Happiest Page on Earth, a great site which includes the fabulous Disneyland Timeline and tons of pictures/multimedia.

Andy Dannelley's Comparison of Disneyland and Disneyworld - so that you're never lost at a Disney theme park again!

Jim O'Connor's page of Disney Collectables, with special emphasis on Disneyland memorabilia.

Increasingly there are too many Disney fan pages out there to count, let alone classify, review, and tally on a links page. Nevertheless, there are a few brave souls who have assembled some strong lists of Disneyland fan sites, and I gladly refer you to them (rather than do all that work myself!):

Doobie's Disneyland links

Sylvia's Disney links

Werner's Disney links

Ryan's Disneyland links

For those of you who are committed fans of Disneyland, hopefully you already know about the newsgroup alt.disney.disneyland, which is used by hundreds - maybe thousands - of people to get information about the Park, discuss recent changes, give opinions on those changes or other elements of the park, or simply to talk about rumors for the future. It's a fun environment, though arguments do occur. One way to lessen potential misunderstandings when joining the group is to "lurk" quietly for a while, and especially to read through the F.A.Q.'s (Frequently Asked Questions) people have constructed about the newsgroup:

My own A.D.D. FAQ, connected to my sister website.

Mr.Liver's A.D.D. FAQ, great for terminology and abbreviations.

In case you didn't know how to find it, here is a link to the official Disneyland website!

Another official source, since we're dealing with restaurants here, is to call Disneyland's official number for Restaurant Information:

(714) 956-6755

Other general information about Disneyland can be obtained by calling (714) 781-4565.

Please email me your comments, questions, additions and corrections (if something is out-of-date). I love to get email, so send your feedback!
