Hide the children: free dining is back
Mouseplanet is reporting that Free Dining is back, for trips beginning at any point between Aug 26 and September 22. Details here. You apparently need to book this quickly, or else it sells out.
You all go enjoy that time. I'm going to HIDE and avoid all the restaurants in that month. I suppose I may swing by to see the madness, photograph the anger. Just need to keep the blood from spattering on my lens. The free dining promotion creates massive chaos.

Just had this discussion over the weekend with my wife. At all costs we will avoid the Free Dining Promotion times. We where there last year at the end of our vaction when it started. What madness!
It seems like they are tweaking it though. As time goes by with everything they do they try to be more efficient. The offer dates have tightend up. The menus will be ready to change the day the free dining starts and sit down counter service restaurants will get the table cloths.
We went last year for free dining- it wasn't bad at all. We did not make the mistake of going while the kids were out of school- but instead after labor day. The parks were empty, and we didn't wait at all at the restaurants. We did make reservations beforehand, but we do that anyway.
