Skyventure

Summary: A simulated free-fall experience via wind chamber, Skyventure is a lot of fun, but it's way too short and it's highly expensive.

Location: Along I-4, opposite Universal Studios. Click here for the official site.

Review:

That distinctive tower you may see alongside Interstate-4, and just opposite Universal Studios, turns out to be home to this simulated skydiving experience. Think enormous fan buried under the floor, so powerful that it'll knock you off your feet, so you have some training before you set foot inside about how to position your body.

Flying by freefall isn't quite so easy as you might think, but neither is it impossible to get the hang of. What's a bigger problem is that this Skyventure experience doesn't last long. You get just two turns in the wind chamber, and each turn lasts under a minute.

Keep in mind you're paying quite a lot of money for this... and it boils down to two minutes of flying.

Fun? Yes. Worth the money? No. But if money is no object or if you really want to experience freefall without the dangers of jumping out of a plane, this may be the thing for you.
