There are a number of healthy choices at Columbia Harbour House, and it manages to strike a proper balance between quick-serve food and "real food." It's got entrances from both Fantasyland and Liberty Square, and is located at the convergence of those two lands.

An example of the healthy options includes the soup and half sandwich combo ($7.50), for which you get a fairly large bowl of soup and half of a slightly oversized sandwich. In my case, I chose the clam chowder and the tuna sandwich. The chowder is the same recipe as the famous version sold in Disneyland's New Orleans Square: white, New England variety, with potato and salt the heavy accents. The tuna sandwich came on bread that had been grilled, but was served cold. This was first-quality tuna, all tasty deliciousness.

Less healthy but equally crowd-pleasing are the fish or chicken baskets. We had a combo basket ($7), which also includes fries. The chicken was the standard Disney park chicken strips recipe, and as always my wife found there to be too much crispy breading, while I quite liked it. The fish came in the form of long fingers, almost like fish sticks (but fairly fat) and nearly as long as the chicken strips. This was extremely tasty: not over-breaded at all on the outside, light and flaky on the inside. Even the fries, standard Disney ones, were hot, salty, and perfect.

Lines sometimes move slowly at this restaurant, but folks are happy and helpful. And even apparently slow-moving lines are really moving faster than many others in this park. But the real attraction to this restaurant is its dining room. It excels in available seating, interesting theming, and it also boasts a first-rate air conditioning system. It can get crowded, but always has extra seating (look to the less-used upstairs during busy hours). The crowds bring noise, which is the only reason this spot doesn't rate a perfect score on environment.
