Not every visit to Liberty Inn will be this effortless, but I happened to be there during a downpour that lasted two hours. Lines were non-existant, and while it was a struggle to find a table, once found, it was wonderful to have and to be out of the rain.

The hot dog combo ($6) includes a large dog and bun, and a largish side of French fries, which were hot and fresh. The dog itself wasn't remarkably bad or great, but certainly serviceable and worth the price. The toppings bar was similarly functional (ketchup, mustard, relish, onions) but nothing amazing. Overall, this was a lot of food for the price, given Disney's usual standards.

The child PB&J ($4) included the usual drink, and was the Uncrustables brand of sandwich, which is always heavy on both the jelly and the peanut butter. Having your choice of sides is always an option, but the menu here specifically mentions a chocolate chip cookie, which is hard to resist.

As noted earlier, service was blindingly fast, but this was because it was pouring rain for some time and crowds at Disney tend to huddle during driving rainstorms. With no one mobile, there were no new arrivals to get into line here. Under normal circumstances, the line is longer, the wait longer, and the tables more numerous. There are also dozens of outside tables, but those are useless in the rain. The indoor tables are plentiful, however, and there is usually tons of seating. This location is the perfect place to camp in a storm: there is food, a covered walkway to the restrooms, and just a quick hop away is a 40-minute attraction that can also run in the storm.
