Built to be fast and convenient, the Dino Diner is a glorified food cart that only operates during peak hours and has a menu so limited as to barely warrant a mention. There are a couple of snack items (popcorn, chips), and then hot dogs.

The hot dog ($4) is about ten inches long, which on the face of things sounds like a good deal so far, but the meat was smaller than you might be thinking, so most of what you bite each time is the bread from the bun. That's a double shame because the bread in my case was at least a day old, and showed traces of staleness in all the usual ways, like crustiness and decreased flavor. The meat could yet have redeemed the whole, but it too was fairly routine, and one could tell it had simply sat in a heater for some hours.

Service was immediate, with no wait at all, but due to a combination of a poor-English-speaking attendant and the loud air conditioner (or maybe a fly fan?), I had to ask her to repeat three times what she said.

There is no environment to speak of. A few benches nearby and a couple tables with umbrellas constitute the eating area, and they are invariably full of people, and even if they weren't, would be so mercilessly exposed to sun or rain that they might as well not exist. This place makes sense only if you want basic sustenance without flavor, don't want to pay much, and are very willing to eat as you walk. Otherwise, steer clear.
