The chicken wrap ($8) was advertised as jerk chicken, but its herbs disappointed. Heavy on cumin and cinnamon, it was neither tasty nor spicy; it tasted more like a sweet peanut sauce. Not what one usually expects from a name like jerk chicken. The italian sandwich ($8) was a tad small, and made with pre-stacked hunks of meat. But it had the most flavor of the dishes we sampled, largely due to the huge dollop of pesto that came on it, as well as the very fresh ciabatta bread, which contrasted to the tasteless wheat wraps of the other entrees. The tabbouleh wrap ($6) advertised garlic and kalamata olives, but the actual sandwich merely tasted like 'refrigerator', if that were somehow possible. One nice note: the cole slaw might have been bland, but the cucumber salad was divine, essentially sunomono with red onions.
Don't try saving money by eschewing kid's meals for side items - you'll end up spending more. The milk ($2) and the simple yogurt ($2) yielded less food than a meal would have, at the same price. Annoyingly, all the side items in this restaurant are unlabeled with prices - a clear indication that they believe everyone dining here will be on the Dining Plan, where prices don't matter. Prices do matter to others, though, so this is misleading.
Service was moderate and on the bad side - they messed up our side orders, the cashier ignored us for a few minutes, and so on.
The few tables indoors were shoehorned into an arcade, leading one to wonder why they don’t get rid of the games and add tables. A possiblity: this is the place for kids to come when their parents go to the more upscale Narcoosee's or Victoria and Albert's, so the arcade is a necessity? Either way, the tables were cramped, there were birds flying around trapped inside, and it was not a welcoming environment.
