You may find the pork sandwich ($8) and the Greek salad ($6) to be welcome relief from the usual onslaught of typical fast food choices, but the relief is short-lived, for the food can be best described as "uninspired." Pedestrian flavors, a lack of extras on the condiment stand (what good is BBQ pork without any BBQ sauce?), and bare minimums in terms of presentation expose this facility for what it is: temporary and slapped-together.
About the only permanent relief could be found in the drinks. The sangria ($5) is well-priced, though it comes from a mix and doesn't have a great deal of imagination. Around the corner you'll find a full bar, though, so if this suits your fancy more than the food, it's probably money better spent.
Despite sometimes having lines (particularly when the nearby Lights Motors Action show gets out, releasing droves of hungry hordes), the workers here seldom mount much of a defense in terms of extra cashiers. You may find yourself languishing in one such line, with no indication that anyone cares.
The dining area is covered by a large metal roof, but the sides are exposed to the elements, so it's the same temperature here as it is outdoors. That is to say, it's much too hot most of the year, and on those rare days when it's too cold, it's too cold here too. There's not much interesting to look at. On one side you can see the back angle of the Honey I Shrunk play area for kids, but it gets boring pretty quickly. Not unlike the food here.
