Mistify begins with five minutes of just music, with nothing at all to look at. And then: fountains. The dancing waters part of the show was actually okay.

Mistify REALLY wants to be like Fantasmic! Here they use water screens. Too bad you can't really see anything on the screens clearly. It's very confusing, and viewers are unsure what is supposed to be happening.

It also doesn't help matters that the storyline is horribly written and immeasurably cheesy.

The fireworks, though, are decent, especially when combined with the fountains.

It's a shame that visitors have to sit through such a long show to reach the point there are fireworks, though.

Shamu, about the only thing recognizable on the water screens, somehow comes to our rescue when sharks threaten us. Don't worry about the logic; it's all just a boy's dream.

Focus instead on the eye candy of colored fountains and fireworks.

And enjoy that finale!
